Article VI names two categories for consideration. The criteria below apply to both.

Criteria for consideration

Article VI states these criteria include, but are not totally limited to, the following.

  1. Oregon resident with history of registering ATA targets within the State of Oregon for at least 15 years.
  2. Registering a minimum of 30,000 ATA targets.
  3. Success as a competitor, including winning at least two (2) Oregon State, Regional (i.e. Zone), National, or other "prestigious" (ATA Sponsored Championship Trophies) ATA titles while an Oregon resident.
  4. Contributed and/or provided service to the OSATA and/or the sport of trapshooting within the State of Oregon. Contributions or service may include serving on the Board of Directors; serving within the ATA at a national level; coaching/encouraging new shooters or members; organizing or assisting in hosting tournaments or other trapshooting or related events; performing duties or assistance in the promotion of trapshooting beyond those of the general membership.
  5. In the event of an untimely or premature death (i.e. adolescent), members may be considered for induction who have displayed ability, volunteerism, or other duties that would potentially have been given consideration for future induction.
  6. These criteria are not totally inclusive and the Board of Directors may, at their discretion, select members for induction into the OSATA HOF that merit such recognition for other significant rationale.
